Scott Louser: Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz's Father To Visit Minot
Working in conjunction with members of the North Dakota Family Alliance, I am excited to announce an event scheduled for Tuesday, September 1 here in Minot at the Sleep Inn convention center.
Pastor Rafael Cruz, father of Republican Senator and Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, will be speaking to our community on the topics of being a sovereign people and the need to choose our own leaders based on Christian principles. Pastor Cruz takes on issues such as human trafficking, backroom deals with terrorists, baby parts being sold the highest bidder and religious liberties under assault.
Rafael Cruz has an intense personal story.
He was born in Matanzas, Cuba and as a teenager, supported the overthrow of an oppressive government. In 1957, after serving a prison term, he secured an exit permit and immigrated to the United States. According to Pastor Cruz, his faith has always carried him through. He works to pass on the hard-earned lessons from his life: faith in God, belief in American liberty and respect for the Constitution that secures and protects that liberty for all of us.
Admission is free and all are welcome to this unique event.
Pastor Cruz will be speaking from 7:00pm to approximately 8:30pm. The location of the Sleep Inn Convention Center is 2400 10th ST SW in Minot (attached to Dakota Square Mall).
