Port: Doug Burgum jumps into culture war with Jason Aldean T-shirt
Minot, N.D. — The musical stylings of country music star Jason Aldean have become the latest front in America’s obnoxious culture war.
Aldean, one of the cowboy cosplayers who have helped turn country music into an exercise in almost literally releasing the same song over and over again, recently dropped a song called, “Try That In A Small Town,” the lyrics of which celebrate rural vigilantism.
“Cuss out a cop, spit in his face, stomp on the flag and light it up, yeah, ya think you’re tough, well, try that in a small town,” Aldean sings.
