MINOT, N.D. — Tomorrow, Gov. Doug Burgum will announce that he’s running for president.
The question now is, when will the campaign end?
From Burgum’s perspective, the best possible outcome is Election Day in November 2024. That will mean he’ll have won the Republican nomination and possibly the White House. But what does the timeline look like from a more practical, and immediate, perspective?
He has 78 days.
