Senator Kevin Cramer took questions from listeners on this episode of Plain Talk, and every single question this week had to do with his recent comments about disparagement of North Dakotans which he made in the context of President Donald Trump’s feud with Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings.

Cramer says he’s “never heard Elijah Cummings claim Trump is racist.” He also said some people are just looking to be outraged.

“If you want to be offended by something you’ll be offended,” he said.
