North Dakota Sees Largest Percentage Of In-Bound Moves In The Nation
US Census estimates pegged North Dakota as leading the nation in population growth. The state set an all-time record for population in 2013. So it’s not surprising that Atlas Van Lines’ 20th annual migration patterns study for the US would show North Dakota leading the nation inbound moves.

There are some obvious trends on display. Oil states – North Dakota and Texas – are leading the way, and in general it seems that lower-tax, smaller-government red states saw more inbound moves than higher-tax, bigger-government blue states.
