Legislator Promises To Get To The Bottom Of Partnership Between NDSU And Planned Parenthood
On Friday I had the opportunity to sit in for my good friend Scott Hennen on his radio show, and I interviewed state Rep. Bette Grande about the news that North Dakota State University is partnering with Planned Parenthood to push sex education.
Grande is extremely concerned about our federal tax dollars going to a far-left political group like Planned Parenthood, and how North Dakota State University came to approve the partnership especially after the state of North Dakota specifically turned down these funds (which were a part of the Obamacare bill).
Here’s the audio:

This is yet another example, I think, of why the state’s university system can’t be trusted to govern itself. The university system may like to think of themselves as independent of the state government, but that’s not true. The universities are state institutions, created by the state constitution to serve state interests, and if the elected leaders of our state make a decision the universities should be obliged to obey.
