“That Flag Was Brought Home and Treated With the Respect It Deserves”
A couple of days ago I posted some video I got from a law enforcement source working the #NoDAPL protests. It showed law enforcement rescuing an American flag – in the middle of a blizzard, no less – that was being disrespected by the protesters.
Today Morton County put out a video, featuring Cass County Sheriff Paul Laney, giving some more detail to the story.
“That flag was brought home and treated with the respect it deserves,” Laney says.
“The flag was properly folded and presented to the Adjutant General for safekeeping,” I was told by my source for the original post.
As I wrote previously, there have been a lot shabby moments during these protests. This was a beautiful one.
