Fargo-Area Lawmaker Announces Campaign for Treasurer
Back in early December I mentioned that state Rep. Tom Beadle, a Republican from Fargo, was rumored in political circles to be considering a run for state treasurer.
Longtime incumbent Kelly Schmidt, also a Republican, has opted not to run for another term, and that decision has left an opening. State Rep. Daniel Johnston, a Republican from Kathryn, has already made a (somewhat rocky) entry into the race. Now Beadle has joined as well.
