KFYR Cans AJ Clemente After Memorable, Profane Debut
Last night’s debut on KFYR television for weekend/anchor reporter A.J. Clemente didn’t go so hot.
Last night KFYR posted on the Facebook account that Clemente had been suspended. This morning Clemente posted on his Twitter feed that he’d been fired:
Unfortunately KFYRTV has decided to let me go. Thank you to them and everyone in ND for the opportunity and everyone for the support.

Seems like he’s got a good attitude about it, and it’s hard to imagine that he won’t be able to parlay some of this attention he’s getting into something positive for his career.
That being said, what a stupid move by KFYR. He made an honest mistake. Yeah, maybe he ticked off the prudes, but if social media is any indication he had far more people on his side than did KFYR.
