Video: Biden Admits That Democrat Gun Control Policy Won't Reduce Mass Shootings
CNN caught Vice President Joe Biden, named by President Obama as the leader of his gun control task force after the Sandy Hook shooting, telling supporters that nothing in the administration’s gun control platform will reduce mass shootings. This despite the President and Vice President arguing that the policies would, specifically, reduce mass shootings.
Whoops:
Biden is right, of course. That is, Biden’s statement made to a small circle of supporters rather than the one made to the media in a high-profile press event is right. Nothing the Obama administration is proposing will reduce mass shootings or gun deaths.
But then, that’s not really the Obama administration’s goal. Their goal isn’t crime so much as making gun purchases and ownership harder so that fewer people do it.
