Video: Rapper Performing At Inauguration Party Kicked Off Stage For Criticizing Obama
The guy’s name is Lupe Fiasco, and per Allah he’s been pretty critical of Obama in the past calling him a “terrorist” for his supposed inaction in Gaza.
During an interview with CBS in 2011, he called the president a terrorist. Lupe said, “My fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama and the United States of America. I’m trying to fight the terrorism that’s actually causing the other forms of terrorism.”
“You know, the root cause of terrorism is the stuff the U.S. government allows to happen. The foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists.”
Lupe has also criticized Obama’s stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and has stated that he does not vote in elections because of his anti-establishment views.
Here’s the video of his inauguration party performance, where you can hear him profanely criticizing the president, after which some massive security guards show up to escort him off stage.
The event’s organizers are saying they didn’t give Fiasco the hook because of his politics but rather his “bizarre” performance. I wouldn’t say that I’m a big fan of Fiasco’s genre of music, so I’m not exactly qualified to judge it.
What will be interesting is the media’s reaction. A performing artist getting the boot from an inauguration event circa 2005 would have been heralded by the liberal media as a free-speech martyr, and another example of the crushing of dissent in Chimpy McHitlerburton’s cruel, fascist regime. But since it’s 2013, and Obama is president, this guy’s just a nut.
