Video: Rep. Kevin Cramer Blasts Obama Over #NoDAPL: “You Can’t Encourage Illegal Behavior and Then Wonder Why There Is Violence”
Earlier this week Senator John Hoeven took to the floor of the U.S. Senate to deliver a very excellent speech in defense of North Dakota law enforcement and the Dakota Access Pipeline project.
Last night Congressman Kevin Cramer delivered a similar speech, accusing President Obama of encouraging illegal behavior.
“You can’t encourage illegal behavior and then wonder why there is violence,” Cramer said. “The rule of law matters. We cannot allow lawless mobs to obstruct projects that have met all legal requirements to proceed.”
“I am one of many North Dakotans who are tired of what once began as a peaceful protest and is now a full-fledged riot,” Cramer continued. “It’s time for the bad actors, celebrities and political extremists to leave our state.”
Cramer also read into the Congressional record the resolution below.
