Video: Last Night's North Dakota House Debate Where Sinner Tried To Smile
If you missed last night’s U.S. house debate between Republican incumbent Kevin Cramer, Demcorat George Sinner, and Libertarian Jack Seaman you can watch the first part above. The rest of the videos are here.
It was a bit of a snoozer, though it was clear that Sinner was really trying to portray himself differently in this one. He admitted he’s not very good at debating (as witnessed by his previous two debates).
But watching him try to smile and look comfortable was just about the most uncomfortable thing I’ve seen in a while.
Meanwhile, the last FEC report of the campaign cycle came out last night and Sinner raised slightly more than Cramer did again. But not much more, and Cramer has a commanding lead in total money raised, total money spent, and cash on hand heading into the last weeks of the election.
With no indication that Sinner is going to get some last-minute help from Democrats nationally, and absent any indication that North Dakotans are paying all that much attention to this race in a year dominated by 8 measures on the ballot, it’s hard to see him getting any momentum against Cramer.
