This in the wake of breaking-news regarding the duo traveling the country, asking local ACORN offices for advice on not only establishing a child-prostitution ring, but on how to traffic monies in such a way as to prevent the pimp’s future Congressional aspirations from being tarred. O’KEEFE: The money that’s going to be cycling through the sex business, I might want to use that money for my campaign one day.
STEWART: Oh, OK, I see what you mean. Fourteen and 15-year-old been traveling overseas for years. That’s not something that’s brand new, you know what I mean? I could do research for you. I could find out what you could do, how to get you in that door. You know, get that started.
O’KEEFE: We don’t want that paper trail. We don’t want that money to come out of that business. You know what I mean? We’ve got the girls doing these sex tricks, and you don’t want it public.
STEWART: Yes, yes. That’s true.
O’KEEFE: Because if I’m running for Congress, I don’t want people to find out where the money came from.
STEWART: Oh, yes, that’s very important.

STEWART: Well, see, that’s the part that of the research we I have to do is find out how we can do that without it being so in the open.

I don’t particularly care for Sean Hannity, but his reaction, by-and-large sums up my feelings towards this situation.
Incredible.
It’s hard for me to believe that an organization that has shown a proclivity for supporting aspiring child prostitution, a forgiving eye towards voter fraud, and government rent-seeking that ACORN has even exists, in America no less.
Moreover, it’s hard for me to come to grips with why exactly there’s only been a marginal media outcry on the issue (by-and-large from Fox News and talk-radio).
So, I ask the left-of-center posters here. What do you make of this? Is there some media bias, some defensible quality of ACORN that everyone has thusfar missed? Or do the majority of you find these people to be about as despicable as we do?
