Seems to me, there’s more urgent matters to worry about over there in Iraq than a patch on a soldiers uniform.
Here’s to you SSG Minor .. thanks for being there for us.

Good deal, CAA. As I said over in your AO, I’ll keep commenting over there as long as googlebloger recognizes me. It comes and goes, I quit commenting on blogs hosted on them because their security just went in circles and never posted the comment.

Anna, there damn well are more important matters for Chain of Command to focus on. It has been uniform regulation for many, many years that the patch of the unit you are currently assigned to is on the left shoulder, the patch of a unit you have done a combat tour assigned to placed on the right. The regs covering the wearing of uniform and what can be worn where on it are rather clear.

From all I have seen about SSG Minor he is a strack troop, motivated and well qualified for his job. And for any number of other essential slots in a Combat Unit. Perhaps some enterprising CSM or motivated CO’s dogrobber should take note and see about moving this NCO into a place he can be fully and properly utilized. I’m certain SSG Minor would appreciate it.
