Al Gore Admits Global Warming a Conspiracy

Wonder if Obama will go ahead with his carbon taxes.

Perhaps people will give conspiracy theories a second look when they read this -

“As long as I can remember, my only goal in life has been to destroy free-market capitalism and replace it with global totalitarian socialism. But it seemed that traditional methods, such as guerrilla warfare, were proving unsuccessful. Then, one day in 1988, as I was strolling through the halls of my giant mansion, it hit me: carbon dioxide.

By striking at the molecule that lies at the heart of industrial civilization, I could bring the whole system to its knees and usher in a workers’ paradise.

The rest just sort of fell into place. I wrote a book, held some Congressional hearings, made a movie, dashed off a few pseudonymous journal articles on radiative forcing, and the next thing you know, I was on TV with Dave Matthews and Ludacris convincing people to purchase carbon offsets. Carbon offsets!

I would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn’t been for that darn petition.” Al gore

Is there a law that we can use to lock this maniac up and take away his carbon emitting mansions?

Airman Chris Smith was tripped by another Airman while going down the stairs and fell and hit his head knocking him out. Airman Smith is strong and he did not want to get in trouble so, he did not report to the hospital.

After he reported to his technical school at Sheppard AFB, as a result of his head injury, he began having a little trouble with his classes, but learned to compensate by outlining the chapters in his book several times until he could do well on the tests. However, this did not stop other issues that he began to have. Sometimes, he could not understand people when they spoke to him and he did not always remember things.

He was cruising through his last week of class, had completed all of the class work, and had already received his orders to go to his permanent duty station in England when a couple of minor incidents resulted in him being set back in class for two weeks. He was studying while eating at the chow hall and left his notebook with all of his work for the last block on the chair next to him as he left and he was reported for using his cell phone while trying to get a problem that the Air Force had created with his pay cleared up. He had been told by other Airmen that since was in Block 4 and Phase 3 that he was now allowed to use his cell phone, wile on duty, but it turned out not to be the case.

The new training instructor that he received when he got set back and his new MSGT were predisposed to consider him a problem because he had been set back and they mounted a campaign to force him out of the Air Force that involved a bogus room inspection and search. He was sent for out processing, but his head injury came to light and he was placed on medical status. He is still scheduled to be released from the Air Force when he is released from medical status.

While the Democrats skirted off to the Bahamas or places they want to remain unknown, the GOP stayed to at least discuss the energy crisis. Even if they are planning to try to fix illegal regulations with more illegal regulations, at least they are willing to try to do something. Even if it was a political stunt like the Dems are claiming, these guys care enough about what they’re doing to have tried to pull it off. Many things are way past critical enough to have canceled summer vacation.

Pelosi is more dangerous for the country that Saddam could have ever been. She has to go.

Menendez Strikes Out at Americans

The House subcommittee on immigration just this morning passed H.R. 5882 to immediately add the 550,000 permanent foreign workers sought by Sen. Menendez—and to increase permanent foreign workers for the future.

Senator Menendez has been holding E-verify as ransom in order to get the foreign worker visas he needs to give American jobs away permanently to foreign workers. He is obviously working for foreign interests. Since December, 463,000 American jobs have been lost, the government announced today

The U.S. Department of Labor announced today that non-farm payrolls fell for the 7th straight month. How could the Senate possibly consider bringing one additional foreign worker into the country under these conditions.

The Labor Department reported today that unemployment now stands at a four-year high. How can the Senate allow Sen. Menendez to continue to insist on importing hundreds of thousands more foreign workers?

With the average work week for Americans now down to 33.6 hours—an all-time low—what insanity could cause the Senate to allow Sen. Menendez to hold up E-Verify authorization because he wants to bring in 550,000 more permanent foreign workers?

Menendez has obviously been planning this. Senate Majority Leader Reid knows he needs to re-authorize E-Verify before he gavels things down this weekend. He will do whatever he can to provide extra foreign workers to Sen. Menendez in order to get him to take his “hold” off E-Verify—unless the switchboards light up today in protest.

Democrats Attempting to Weaken E-Verify

The forces that want to replace American workers with low cost foreign workers just won’t give up.

The House Democratic Leadership is planning to bring the E-Verify re-authorization to the floor this week—maybe even Tuesday. (E-Verify will automatically be killed as a program if it is not re-authorized by November.)

The Leadership is leaning toward re-authorizing it for only 3 years instead of 10 years, so pro-illegal-immigration forces will have a chance sooner to kill or weaken it (in hopes that the American people aren’t paying as much attention then).

And the Leadership is also looking at several tricky funding rules to attach that would weaken the E-Verify program and perhaps make it easier to kill it next year through back-door, non-public actions.

I have already faxed my Congressman asking him to not allow himself to be bullied, frightened, threatened or influenced by Feistein, Pelosi, or any other person or special interest group and to stand up for the Citizens he is supposed to be protecting as well as our soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Those of you who want to do something for our country, might do the same.

The Government’s In the Wrong Business

      <dc:subject></dc:subject>

We also have disasters flaming in just about every facet of our country. Education, banking, illegal immigration, energy, home ownership, inflation, and employment are all on the ropes. Solving the energy crisis will be a big step but it will not put out the fire.

The reason that we have all of these disasters occurring at the same time that we have a war going on is because, a little over 150 years ago, the government got out of the protection business, which it was designed for and had the skills to be in, and into the regulation business where it had no knowledge or skill. As a result, it had to count on people to tell it what to do and became immediately susceptible to pressure from special interests who were soon running the country. It took a while for them to completely take over, but as soon as they did, we began to see the effects. Since they were skilled in industry and other specialties, but not government, everything started going downhill requiring more and more regulation in order to patch things up. The massive number of regulations eventually became unmanageable and hard to keep track of to make sure that one regulation didn’t have an adverse effect on another.

The bureaucrats are like alcoholics. The only thing that makes an alcoholic feel good is another drink no matter how harmful it is to him. The only thing that makes a bureaucrat feel better is another regulation no matter how much harm it causes.

Alcoholics and bureaucrats have to be removed from the source of their pain in order for things to get better.

In this case, the bureaucrats will have to be removed from the illegal power that they can’t resist to pass regulations. You don’t have to take a lot of your time away from your efforts to solve your favorite crisis. You only have to vote in the fall for those who don’t want to regulate.

By removing the fuel from the fire, it will start to die out.

Menendez is Blocking E-Verify

Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey has put a hold on the re-authorization of the E-Verify program. As you know, E-Verify allows employers to determine the legality of their potential new hire. This program is up for re-authorization and many anti-American worker congressmen have been trying to hold the bill up.

Sen. Menendez has placed a hold on the bill and refuses to release the hold until the Congress agrees to increase the number of work-based visas. It is absolutely appalling that a United States Senator would do this to American workers. Not only is he holding up a program that prevents illegal aliens from finding work (and thereby allowing Americans to fill jobs), he is holding it hostage for more skilled worker visas (which keep educated Americans out of a job).

Send your U.S. Senator as fax and urge him/her to keep Sen. Menendez in line. Remind him/her that this is probably not the message that the Democratic party wants to send heading into the November elections.

Congress Passes Bank Bail Out Bill

      <dc:subject></dc:subject>

Congress has passed a bill which will be the beginning of bailing out the banks who have irresponsibly loaned themselves out of business.

The Fed argued for their creation after the panics, bank closures, and depression by saying that a central bank was needed to prevent those types of disasters.

After the Fed and banks pressured Congress to pass legislation that would protect them from bankruptcy fillings, they embarked and an unscrupulous and predatory lending campaign. The Fed accommodated them by increasing the money supply.

Now that they have, in collusion with other privately owned banks, created the very disaster that they are supposed to prevent, we are expected to bail them out. Homeowners are still not going to be able to pay their adjustable rate mortgages but, the banks will get more money to loan.

The bill also increased the maximum national debt by $800 billion to $10.6 trillion. This means that the Fed will be able to print more money and loan it to the government with interest and the people who own the Fed, instead of paying for their graft, will make more money. We will pay through taxation and inflation.

It is hard to say whether Congress is collectively stupid or collectively corrupt but there is no justification for letting them get away with this. Vote everyone who voted for this bill out of office.
