Instead of hot dogs, beer, and firecrackers, today would be a great day to celebrate by reading the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution. Both of them are very short but they are the two most effective documents on the planet. Most people have actually never read them. Many people have read the Bill of Rights but never the entire Constitution. Now would be a good time to do so.

Take a pad and pen and, as you read them, jot down the things that we are dealing with today that resulted in the Declaration of Independence and the things in the Constitution that are being violated. You will then have a list of the things that are causing the problems that we are now facing.

It is said that only 5% of a population will fight for their country. At this point, you still don’t have to fight. You only have to vote.

In the mean time, she is working feverishly to and using her position as Speaker to bully Congress into attaching millions of foreign worker visa increases to the SAVE ACT. She also support the immigration lottery where 50,000 immigrants win a chance to come to the country without regard to their situation. After they are here, they are eligible and can apply for public services.

This after the failure of Feinstein and Craig to get amnesty and visa increases attached to the Iraq supplemental war bill in the Senate. You get the idea that Craig is playing along with the diva so he will get to stay.

Why would they do this you must ask. Are they trying to change this country’s demographics? What would happen 10 years from now if there are 80 million Mexican immigrants who want this to be Mexico and they wanted to move forward with the North American Union?

The public outcry against Feinstein’s sneaky move to attach illegal and legal immigration increases to continued war funding may have put a knife through the heart of her amnesty bill permanently.

Apparently Reid and other Senators don’t want to have this fight during an election. Perhaps they now have a measure of the people against this.

You have to wonder what the Senate Committee was thinking. You also have to wonder why Feinstein is still running around loose, let alone still in office. This criminal has done much worse things than tap her foot in a bathroom.

Amnesty Bill Up for Vote Tomorrow

      <dc:subject></dc:subject>

Here are some of the worst things that the Feinstein Amnesty bill attached to the emergency Iraq War funding bill will do:

The AgJOBS amendment would require the Department of Homeland Security to grant “emergency agricultural worker status” (i.e., amnesty) for up to five years to as many as 1.35 million illegal aliens, plus their spouses and children, if the illegal alien:

· Can show that he/she worked 863 hours or 150 work days ( 5.75 hours of work per day), or earned at least $7,000 in agricultural employment between January1, 2004, and December 31, 2007. In other words, if the illegal alien can show that he was illegally employed in agriculture for a grand total of less than 22 weeks during a four-year period!

· Filed an amnesty application with a “qualified designated entity,” or with DHS directly if he is represented by an attorney or a nonprofit organization, during an 18-month application period that would begin six months after enactment of the amnesty.

· Was not a known terrorist or convicted criminal who has been convicted of one or more felonies or three or more misdemeanors. So, a couple of convictions for domestic violence or drunk and disorderly are fine, since those are generally misdemeanor offenses. Mahmud Abouhalima, an illegal-alien cab driver in New York, qualified for the 1986 agricultural amnesty before going on to drive a bomb into the World Trade Center in 1993.

· Paid a “fine” of $250.

Once an illegal passes these requirements, he will be entitled to:

· Bring his spouse and children here to join him, or legalize their status, if they are already here illegally.

· Official U.S. government identification documents, including a valid social security number—with which he would be able to apply for a driver’s license—and a work permit for him and his spouse.

· Immunity from prosecution for committing social security fraud if he had been working illegally with a false or stolen social security number.

Last Thursday, the Senate Appropriations Committee added these immigration amendments to the version of the Iraq Supplemental they were marking up.

·  First was the Feinstein AgJOBS-lite amendment, which passed by a recorded vote of 17-12;

· A Mikulski H-2B amendment--for the next three years, it would exempt from the annual cap of 66,000 any H-2B workers who were admitted during the previous three years. (The impact on the numbers could be exponential--they could rise from 66,000 in FY 2008 to over 400,000 by FY2011.) This passed by a recorded vote of 23-6!

· Third was an amendment by Sens. Murray and Gregg to “recapture unused” employment-based visas from the past couple of decades. Since any employment-based visas that are not used in one year are added to the number of available family-based visas for the following year, there are no “unused” employment-based visas, and so there are none to “recapture.” However, Murray and Gregg’s deceptive manipulation of visa numbers would add an estimated 218,000 (total) employment-based visas to the annual cap of 140,000, until they are all used (again!). This amendment passed by voice vote.

The Democrats are obviously playing games with our soldiers’ lives. While they defeated the Iraq spending bill in Congress, they were busy adding these amnesty items in the Senate Committee. This is about as blatantly anti-American and against American Citizens’ wishes as you can get. They want to let our soldiers die protecting our country while they give away our nation and refuse to protect our borders in the legislature.

If you’ve never sent your Congressman or Senator an email, now would be the time to do it. 186,000 faxes were sent yesterday.

Senate Committee Passes Amnesty

On a 17-12 vote this afternoon, the Senate Appropriations Committee added Sen. Feinstein’s ag amnesty to the Iraq supplemental spending bill. This bill could come up for a vote before the full Senate tomorrow. They have done this in total disregard of the overwhelming majority of the people.

This is an outrageous act of disrespect for our men and women in uniform and to the citizens of this country by attaching an illegal-alien amnesty to the Iraq spending bill. Senators should be encouraged to vote and work to strip the amnesty from the Iraq spending bill on the floor.

Your Senator can still vote NO and send the bill back to committee if the amnesty is NOT stripped. This is typical of how the Democratic Congress has traded lives for their pet projects. Every phone of every Senator should be ringing off the hook. 202-224-3121

There is no need for an amnesty to provide growers with workers. There already is an H-2A foreign ag worker program that provides growers with an unlimited number of temporary workers if the growers agree to pay a decent wage and ensure that they go home at the end of the season. Feinstein is just trying to protect the abysmally low wages and bad working conditions that farm workers labor under.

Democrats Trying to Pass Amnesty Today!

      <dc:subject></dc:subject>

Sen. Diane Feinstein is set to try this afternoon to add an amnesty for illegal-alien ag workers to the Iraq supplemental spending bill.

The details of the amnesty are not known. There is some chance she may try to slip it through by not including permanent legalization but just giving one or two million illegal ag workers a 5-year amnesty that allows them to work and live here while further sinking roots. The open-borders champions hope that the longer illegal aliens stay the more difficult it will ever be to deny them U.S. citizenship.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has strong-armed anti-illegal-immigration Democrats to withhold their support for enforcement and is in the process of killing the SAVE Act for the year.

You can call the offices of members of the Senate Appropriations Committee and voice your objections. 202-224-3121

Here are the Appropriations Senators:

Alexander (R-Tenn.)
Allard (R-Colo.)
Byrd (D-West Va.)
Bennett (R-Utah)
Bond (R-Mo.)
Brownback (R-Kan.)
Cochran (R-Miss.)
Craig (R-Idaho)
Domenici (R-N.M.)
Dorgan (D-N.D.)
Durbin (D-Ill.)
Feinstein (D-Calif.)
Gregg (R-N.H.)
Harkin (D-Iowa)
Hutchison (R-Texas)
Inouye (D-Hawaii)
Johnson (D-S.D.)
Kohl (D-Wis.)
Landrieu (D-La.)
Lautenberg (D-N.J.)
Leahy (D-Vt.)
McConnell (R-Ky.)
Mikulski (D-Md.)
Murray (D-Wash)
Nelson (D-Neb.)
Reed (D-R.I.)
Shelby (R-Ala.)
Specter (R-Pa.)
Stevens (R-Alaska)

You can point out that there is no excuse for growers hiring illegal aliens. North Carolina growers, for example, have set up a North Carolina Growers Association that meets all of the ag labor needs through local workers and through legal foreign workers brought through the H-2A visa which ensures that the guest workers go home.

There is a good chance that Feinstein will decide not to introduce her amnesty Thursday afternoon if she feels there is a major move against it. Let every member of the committee know just how worked up citizens get as soon as they hear of a possibility of an amnesty.
