Seeing all the fuss about our President reaching his first 100 days in office, I thought I would dump the mental checklist I’ve been keeping of the good and the bad so far.

Good:
1. Lifting the ban on federal research dollars for embryonic stem cell research.
2. Stopping the DEA from busting pot smokers in California even if they have a prescription.
3. Breaking his campaign promise and not messing with what Bush left him in Iraq. Staying the course to see it finished right.

Bad:
1. Everything else that he has done.
2. There is no #2.

Overall grade? D-

I’ve been really trying to find the good things. Three is all I could come up with. I could go on for pages about the bad. Even more spending and debt than Bush piled on our kids. Continued creeping nationalization of the auto financial industries. Raising taxes on everyone (even the 95% he promised he wouldn’t) The international apology tour. Cutting missile defense. Appointing tax cheats to his cabinet. It’s endless. So far the guy is on track to over reach and be a sure one term President.
