I will now attempt, with success, to announce what you, the Say Anything reader did with 100% accuracy.

For this trick to work, you must follow the instructions very carefully - and you cannot cheat.

First, you must visit this website. WARNING: It isn’t 100% safe for work. There is no p0rn but the product allows you visually see the before/after, with/without effects with decently produced CGI. Nothing about the site will trigger Webp0rn protection software.

After visiting the website, scroll down this post.

Stop cheating and go visit. If you don’t want to take any chances then read this post from home later.

Fine, ruin the magic trick.

BEHOLD!! I know exactly what you did!

If you:

Are a woman, you realized what the product did and, based on your activity level, either explored the product advertising as interesting and left, or actually put their product to the consumer test - based on your measurements - and might consider their product had they not been a U.K.-based company.

Are a dude, upon realizing what you were looking at and giggling to yourself, you immediately selected the largest cup size and the largest level of activity and ran the simulation. After laughing some more, you emailed this to some friends. In that email the word “DUDE!!” appears at least once.

Physics! Catch the fever!

Now lets think back to October… think back… come on way… back… almost there… OK, we’re in October 2006. After buying lottery tickets, let’s remember the conspiracy theories about the falling gasoline and oil prices. Remember these? And these? This one on Al-jazzy is the best, stating that prices WILL RALLY after the mid-term elections.

Right now, in October 2006 President Bush is lowering oil and gasoline prices so people will be happy and vote for Republican Congressmen. He is. That’s what he does.

After the elections, we will see a drastic rise in oil prices.

OK, now let’s go back to January 12, 2007… come on… almost.... OK. Today I see that NYMEX oil prices dropped to $51.88 per barrel (bbl). You can click that link and see the graph of historic prices over the last year.

Notice how it peaks in August or early September 2006 and then falls? That’s Bush lowering the oil and gas prices and then raising them back up.

Oh wait, you mean they’ve continued to fall? So maybe this was not a conspiracy at all? Maybe oil prices are controlled by global economic factors? Wow.

I question the pricing…

This points me to the whole reason that I bring this up, Atheism has an extremely strong dishonest streak in it. By that I mean that atheists don’t normally honestly believe that there is no God. Atheists have a emotionally vested interest in saying that “there is no God.”

...

Likewise, have you noticed that atheists hate the Christian God. How many atheists do you ever see attacking the Bahi or Islam or the Native Americans or the scientologist? I can’t remember one time. I’m sure that there has to be, but let’s be honest, Atheism in the US is a anti-christian movement.

Edmunds said the bidding opened at $1,000 and dropped to $500 before the auctioneer accepted a $1 bid from bank executive Malcolm Maddox, a regional chairman for Capital One.

I think they overpaid.

It turns out that the bidding was a prank of sorts and it would be funny if it wasn’t so believable that it could actually happen.

“She’s really not even paying attention to it right now,” Centanni said.

This is regarding the “prank” but could describe Blanco’s performance since about August of 2005.
