I was watching the news today when I heard that a state(I believe it was New Jersey)legislature was actually considering allowing illegal aliens to attend public universities. The catch was that the alien had to prove he had applied for citizenship. Or, he would pledge to become a U.S. citizen. Are these bleeding hearts out of their minds. We are already educating Mexican children who live close to the border because their schools suck. Why any school district allows this, is beyond me. Forget that “give me your poor, your hungry, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” We can’t afford to educate our own people. We have to put these morality based ideas aside and face reality.
