Woman, Arm Thyself

I don’t know about you, but I am sick to death of all the senseless killings of our young women by the sickos out there. I think that it is time women started arming themselves for their own safety. Every woman, especially young adult women, should be allowed to purchase a handgun. Then she should learn how to use it. Then she should get a concealed carry permit. Every woman should also enroll in a self defense course. Woman, stop being nice and shy. It could cost you your life. Follow your gut feeling. Stay alert, stay alive.

Maybe it would be a better idea if she first learned how to use it correctly, and then went and purchased a handgun of her own.

What BatOne says.  Having a gun, but not knowing how to use it, is just throwing money away.  Count on about $300 in training (including range fees and ammunition) to go from just a gun owner to a person for whom the gun is useful.

Pepper spray is great, BTW, for places where they won’t let you carry.  It’s not a gun, but given the choice between dealing with a seeing and a blinded assailant, I’ll take the blinded one every time.

Self defense is a mindset as well.  Carrying a gun doesn’t make you safe.

Being aware of your surroundings will make you safer.

Being aware of your surroundings and having a gun will make you a lot more safer.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.
