Why the Republican Party Lost:

..GOP voters yesterday wanted to vote a straight Republican ticket but "nobody could find a straight Republican."

So what’s up now, are you saying that all Republicans are gay?

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

With zippy humor like that, I can’t fathom why people think the GOP is filled with nasty homophobes.....

I guess sometimes campaigning on homophobia and terrorphobia (I realize its redundant) doesn’t pay off if you hire gay prostitute hacks to be softball lobbing white house reporters (jeff gannon), have teen-boy obsessed male congressman passing anti-perv laws, have the president’s religious coucil doing meth and doing gay prostitues, you hand lots of untraceable guns to terrorists, and you choose a theory-but-not-reality based secretary of defence..

Why do liberals like Sparkie hate gays?

Why do people like Puzzle care about gay Republicans?

I thought sexuality didn’t matter.  What happened to the privacy of the bedroom?

P: You lie, as usual.  I have never said that I want any gays in the closet.  What I relentlessly point out is that Dems attack gay Republicans for being gay, which is intolerant hypocrisy.  I frankly don’t care if someone is gay or not; if they have American ideals and principles, I support them.  No one’s sexual orientation is any of my business, actually.  Why is it such a big issue for the Dems, anyway?

of course r108, you make it your business because god forbid if two gay people want to live in a committed relationship and get married, you more than put your two cents worth in and that is the height of hypocrisy.

They are probably ‘fraid they might like it.

Puzzle,

Actually, God does forbid it!  Good call.

P: Wrong again, as usual.  If a gay man and a gay woman want to live in a committed relationship, there is nothing to stop them.
I have advocated many times on this blog for a gay version of committed relationship, created by gays for gays; I maintain that such relationships aren’t “marriage”, by definition.  That is my only objection; trying to hijack a long-established institution by a small, special interest group for political reasons.  I also always suggest that it be put to a popular vote.  If the majority wants it, that’s the American way.  If the majority doesn’t want it, it’s simply totalitarian to try to force it on them.  Get it?

kevin pipes in with some gay bashing - revealing the true right wing homophobia. while r108 expects us to think he loves gays… just another flip flop from a sheeple.

I respect gay people’s right to privacy.  They don’t deserve to have their lifestyle dragged out in the open.

It’s reprehensible that the liberals are doing exactly that for political reasons.

Once you get off the subject of gay anal sex, Sparkie, you lose credibility.  Kevin was actually Dem bashing; he said that Dems were afraid that gays would like being Republican, if they tried it.
I never said I loved gays; you just make things up, as usual.  I think gays are a small special interest group with their own agenda, and they have the same rights as anyone else in America to try to advance that agenda, but if the majority doesn’t agree with them, they don’t get to force their stuff on the majority.  I don’t love them or hate them; I do respect their right to privacy in their sexual habits.  I don’t want to know about it, thank you very much.
