Why Die-Hard Conservatives Should Love McCain
If McCain loses, die-hards can crow that he lost because he abandoned his base.
Either way… for die-hards… it’s a win/win!!
Just a thought for a lovely Saturday morning here on the right coast.
Keep on using the leftie tactic of “divide and conquer” by trying to divide conservatives into separate groups...that’ll work. /sarcasm

... just a little humor, 108… nothing more.

What was the funny part? You bombed.

Conservatives can have it both ways.... oh, never mind.

The inconvenient truth is that conservatives get nothing either way. That’s not remotely funny.

I was hoping for some kind of deep, reasoned, discourse from pp that would have opened my eyes to the good things of McCain, and gave me reason to vote for him, and by extension, have hope (I mean a real hope, not some synthetic vapourous liberal bullshit hope) for our country’s next four years being something great.
But, I guess not. Man,pp, can’t you give us something to work with here? We are so screwed…
McCain is the best Moderate Democrat the Republicans nominated in decades. Thank you for not picking the others.
Combating Republican dirty tricks since 2002!
Example: Republican Dirty Trick
Obama is the most radical leftist ever nominated by the Democrats… not to mention the most hopelessly weak and inexperienced. Thank you for making it so easy for the GOP to retain the White House in November!

This has got to be a first, but I agree, except to say that there is nothing moderate about giving the country away to 20 million undeserving illegal aliens and the millions more that will pour into the open borders once Amnesty is given.
I will vote Republican down-ticket, but write in Fred or whomever.
Either the racist Mulatto Communist or the RINO will win, as we have no other choices.
But neither will get my vote. Period.

I wonder how fast the race card will come out? I will not vote for him because he is a Marxist/communist/Socialist: I think BHO is a lightweight, a moron and an emtpy suit. Wrong for America. I am already sick of listening to his stupid voice inflextions. Gratting. Also when I see his face I keep hering his wife saying for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country and his racist minister saying God Damn America. I am sick of these hate America first Leftards.

Goon,
I have no doubt that the race card will be played… soon and often. Its exactly the sort of “attack-the-messenger” style response that those on the Left are so practiced at, especially when some criticism hits too close to home and they have no substantive answer.
But as I’ve noted here before, “So What?!” Being labeled a “racist” by an incoherent “progressive” is kinda like being labeled “mean’ by an obstinate and recalcitrant adolescent. Which, when you think about it, is a pretty accurate comparison.

He isn’t the nominee yet is he?
Asked if he thought it would be cathartic for Clinton’s name to be put in for nomination, Obama said:
“I don’t think we’re looking for catharsis. I think what we’re looking for is energy and excitement about the prospects of changing this country.”
