What The FOX!

Comments

Selective editing may entertain you, but it is dishonest. Next, and this is very important rbb, Obama takes every side of every possible issue, it is called triangulation. So, no matter what is said, Obama can produce a statement he made that best meets his political interests.

This is crap!

I agree, it’s foxcrap!

Happy 4th, Neiman.
I love you, even though you are so often wrong.

Why don’t you watch/listen to the video again and tell me how those idiots at fox told The Truth.

fox did a number on the pictures of New York Times employees, Jacques Steinberg Steven Reddicliffe didn’t they?

Hmmm, the editing is so choppy (had to cut out the inconvenient parts I’m sure), but it seems that several of them were giving him guff for not attacking the ad when it came out. Mix that with one person who said he didn’t vote for it, and you have false guilt spread around to everyone.

Indeed, when the controversy was still brewing, the Obama campaign publically and proudly said Petraeus was a liar.

Interesting side note, I found it odd that so many Republicans voted nay on the Amendment, based on the blurb, so I went back and read the Amendment’s full text. It’s a deeply partisan amendment that is more about Max Cleland than Petreus. Findings 1-5 are about how nasty the attacks were on Cleland. And 6-7...oh yea, let’s not forget Petreus.

The Jed Report seems to be completely dishonest.

Wait, there’s more!

Obama did indeed refuse to vote on an Amendment which mentioned MoveOn by name. The Boxer amendment didn’t, btw.

HOLY CRAP! FOX got it right.

Damn, Bob’s wrong again. Sigh. One of these days Charlie Bob...you’ll kick that football…

Kenny: rbb holds all facts contrary to his delusions in causual disregard.

Boxer Amdt. No. 2947:

Statement of Purpose:  To reaffirm strong support for all the men and women of the United States Armed Forces and to strongly condemn attacks on the honor, integrity, and patriotism of any individual who is serving or has served honorably in the United States Armed Forces, by any person or organization.

Sen. Barack Obama - aye.

SEC. l SENSE OF SENATE
(a) FINDINGS.—The Senate makes the following
findings:
(1) The men and women of the United
States Armed Forces and our veterans deserve
to be supported, honored, and defended
when their patriotism is attacked;
(2) In 2002, a Senator from Georgia who is
a Vietnam veteran, triple amputee, and the
recipient of a Silver Star and Bronze Star,
had his courage and patriotism attacked in
an advertisement in which he was visually
linked to Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein;
(3) This attack was aptly described by a
Senator and Vietnam veteran as ‘‘reprehensible’’;
(4) In 2004, a Senator from Massachusetts
who is a Vietnam veteran and the recipient
of a Silver Star, Bronze Star with Combat V,
and three Purple Hearts, was personally attacked
and accused of dishonoring his country;
(5) This attack was aptly described by a
Senator and Vietnam veteran as ‘‘dishonest
and dishonorable.’’
(6) On September 10, 2007, an advertisement
in the New York Times was an unwarranted
personal attack on General Petraeus, who is
honorably leading our Armed Forces in Iraq
and carrying out the mission assigned to him
by the President of the United States; and
(7) Such personal attacks on those with
distinguished military service to our nation
have become all too frequent.
(b) SENSE OF SENATE.—It is the sense of the
Senate—
(1) to reaffirm its strong support for all of
the men and women of the United States
Armed Forces; and
(2) to strongly condemn all attacks on the
honor, integrity, and patriotism of any individual
who is serving or has served honorably
in the United States Armed Forces, by
any person or organization.

Sen. Barack Obama - aye.

Sen. John McCain - ney.

Well, RBB, I was gonna give you a pass on shoddy BSing, because it was all the other guy and not you. Now, you post the actual text to the Amendment and prove my point.

Facts not in dispute:

The Boxer Amendment doesn’t mention MoveOn by name.
It is more about Kerry and McClellan than Petraeus.
There was a similar Amendment by Cornyn that DID mention MoveOn.
Obama did not vote on it.
When the incident happened, the Obama campaign called Petraeus a liar.

Therefore Fox is accurate and the Jed report is wrong.

Oh, and since you shamelessly stole the video from someone else’s site...you should give them a link.

Or at the very least a h/t.

Realitybasedbob. Notice how these guys stretch a two inch rubberband up to twenty yards. There is something to learn here. Study their technique closely. I surely will. It involves a lot of twisting. There is a lot to learn from these guys. You will become an ace in the art of stretch and twist. Man!!! After you mastered the technique you will be able to tie yourself into a knot or look like a pretzel. Your choice.

Correction: Clellan, not MCClellan. I apologize for the error. And also that I thought the Kerry ones were also for Clellan. (I was skimming) I apologize for that error as well.

Nutters crack me up.

Way to not address all the ways I proved your video wrong.

The video is factually incorrect. As I proved. The people in the video aren’t talking about what the guy claims. That matters. The one guy who talks about Barack not voting is TELLING THE TRUTH. Barack Obama did not vote on the resolution that named MoveOn. This is simple fact. Not twisting.

You’re both wrong, and since neither of you are intelligent enough to debate the fact you just blather on incoherently about our debating styles. You’re both idiots.
