White House: More Stimulus Needed
When it keeps flopping, keep throwing darts, maybe one will land on something that works.
National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers, in an Internet interview for Atlantic magazine, said he wouldn’t be caught using a loaded phrase such as “Stimulus 2.” But he hinted at the legislative discussion.
We were told the stimulus would create or save 3.5 million new jobs by the end of 2010. Team Obama's predictions were based on unemployment being reduced to 7% by the end of 2010. I think Americans can declare the 'stimulus' a failure now.
