John Kerry, the senator from Massachusetts and his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, sent out 75,000 Christmas cards…

Fortunately, the cards came with instructions on how to recycle them. (Not withstanding the amount of energy required to transport 75,000 cards back cross country to the recycling center.)

Wouldn’t a better approach to the environment be to send cards to your closest friends, rather than mass mailing a boxcar load of cheesy cards to every Tom, Dick and Harry in your Rolodex?

BTW, do you think they signed every one???
