We have brought to Iraq the worst of America

In a confidential memo, a long-time Republican operative who has served in the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad for the past year says the State Department's efforts in Iraq are so poorly managed they "would be considered willfully negligent if not criminal" if done in the private sector.

"We have brought to Iraq the worst of America -- our bureaucrats," writes Manuel Miranda in the memo, which was addressed to U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker and cc'd to "ALCON" or "all concerned" at the State Department.

"You are doing a job for which you are not prepared as a bureaucracy or as leaders," Miranda writes. "The American and Iraqi people deserve better."

Oh please.

What Leftist drivel.

Anyone familiar with the Middle East is familiar with two things:

1) a shrug and a phrase ’imshallah‘ meaning roughly ‘if Allah wills it so. ‘ In real life it is a big excuse for being lazy, stupid, and otherwise ineffective, and;

2) widespread graft and corruption.  Indeed, Perots’ EDS was in pre-revolutionary Iran to set up an organized social security system.  Until Electronic Data Systems arrived and the Shah was handing out government checks in the form of Islamic profit sharing with the citizenry, there was a big problem with folks getting in line again and again and again.

You might recall what was said to be the largest dollar-value scandal in history, the one in Hussein s’ Iraq in which he managed to “siphon off an estimated $10 billion from the Oil-for-Food program through oil smuggling and systematic thievery, by demanding illegal payments from companies buying Iraqi oil, and through kickbacks from those selling goods to Iraq. “ You remember that one don’t you?

That’s before the US arrived to kill his troops, break all his toys and let the people dip their fingers in ink to vote????

The US is under a great compulsion to get the Iraqis back up on their feet, but if their culture is one of corruption and we have to go along to get along and we don’t have a lot of time to do it (thanks to Leftist caterwauling) yes, there will be corruption ---- still ---- in Iraq.

Stupid Leftist.

We have brought to Iraq the worst of America

And then bureaucrats were given as “the worst of America”. In other words, we brought over the Democrat party.

How right you are, rbbob.

Unless you have some super duper double secret plan where in Dumbya switched control of the State Department over to the Democratic Majority Congress, I’ma purtdy shur yer rong and that the party brought over teams with bushies.

After reading his memo, what have you come to know about his overall view of the occupation or his surge assessment and what do you make of his statements about Americans willing to serve in our State Dept?

After reading his memo, tell us at whose feet is blame laid?

After reading his memo…

Excuse me, you were saying?

RBB,

You’re such a freeking operative.  The State Department has been a hotbed of Leftist moles for years.  Indeed, the burrowed-in Statists are commonly known as Mandarins, referring to how the administrators of old China really ran the deal and any emperor crossed swords with them did so at their own peril.

Drawing on exclusive information from senior government officials, intelligence operatives, and many others, investigative reporter Kenneth Timmerman provides the full, untold story of the sabotage that occurs behind the scenes at key government agencies like the CIA and State Department–and the profound effect it has on America’s ability to confront its most dangerous enemies. In Shadow Warriors, Timmerman brings to light the vast underground working to undercut our nation’s efforts to win the war on terror–revealing the when, where, how, and who for the first time. He also exposes the Democratic politicians who have sold out America’s national security for political gain.

Kenneth Timmerman?
Oh well then, if Medved says he’s ok, then he must be….a neo-con hack. (and his bio proves just that)

Next thing ya know you’ll be quoting John O’Neill, Jim Gilchrist and Tammy Bruce.

Didja find someone to vote for yet?

Excuse me, you were saying?

Gents,

This passage is instructive.  It is a fine example of Leftist tradecraft:

1) Gum up the works, and
2) blame someone else.

You can’t take over a machine if it’s working just fine.  That’s why they have said that the concept of Socialism (under its own flag) ran aground on the American shoals of roast beef, by which was meant, the class warfare thing wasn’t working because the American folks were pretty well-fed and pretty much satisfied with the system of government we had chosen (a Constitutional Republic, in case anyone has forgotten) .

Thus, the Left, in the form of the Comintern, short for the Communist Internationale determined that it would have to break the existing form of government so that they could introduce Socialism as a new, improved, savior form of (dictatorship) government.

Thus, the tactic of gumming up the works, but making sure that the flag of the figurehead enemy is flying.

This is exactly why RINOs and McCain are so dangerous to the GOP and Republican party.  They give cover to the illusion that the Republicans have control of Congress or the White House, what-have-you, but in real life, the votes are with the Left, folks like Jeffords, Chaffee, Specter and McCain always sucking up to their Leftist buddies.

When things inevitably go wrong, the Leftists who tossed the monkeywrench into the machinery will jump up and down and scream ‘The Republicans did it! ’

We saw an example of the news headlines just the other day when the Dems tried to load down the Economy Stimulus package with all kinds of other give-aways, and the Leftard MSM headlined the event as ‘Republicans Block Stimulus Package. ‘

With regard to RBB’s post, it’s textbook—Leftist Mandarins have been running the State Department and to an extent, the CIA, dragging their feet and making sure as best they can, that the US troops don’t prevail in Iraq.  Then blame Bush for a result they have been working towards.

They are liars and traitors.  I do despise them.

Comintern (Communist International, also known as the Third International) was an international Communist organization founded in Moscow in March 1919. The International intended to fight ”by all available means, including armed force, for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie and for the creation of an international Soviet republic as a transition stage to the complete abolition of the State

and

Wherever the proletariat, organized in a class party—which is to say a party of revolution —- can penetrate an elective assembly; wherever it can penetrate an enemy citadel, it has not only the right, but the obligation to make a breach and set up a socialist garrison in the capitalist fortress!

boob, you ever do any business in the Middle or Far East? Got any idea how business and government operate there. They are laughing their asses off at this shit.

As for DeptState, yes, it is 98% Democrat, as are all bureaucracies of the US and attendant state government. Give your ignorant bullshit a rest.
