We do these things so others may live.

Like most people in the service, I give the Air Force hell.  That’s just inter-service rivalry.  Here’s a group of men that do a tough job, 24/7.  They deserve all the respect we can give them.  Hats off to the men of the Combat Rescue Squadrons.  You never want to see them because if you do things have gone to hell.  If you need to see them you really want to see them.

The 129th Rescue flew 1500 Combat hours in four months and had 397 combat saves during that time.

Various squadrons have saved over two hundred lives so far this year.
