Wanna See America Jump

I’m not quite sure what the response to this should be, but it definitely needs to be more than the strongly-worded response Obama has issued thus far.  I don’t think a military response is necessarily out of the equation.  Not an invasion, mind you, but the destruction of some key North Korean military installations would certainly be important at this juncture.

Question is: Does Obama have the nerve to do it?  My guess is no, and that was undoubtedly North Korea’s guess as well.  Else they wouldn’t have fired off this missile test.

Why do you suppose we have to respond to North Korea firing off a long range missle? What good would it do? An attack on a military installation in North Korea would be unjustified and outright provocation. It seems that if you want to see Americans jump, all one of our so-called enemies has to do is do something which you jerks seem to regard as them “pushing us around.” A strong, assured power is not easily forced to resort to unnecessary force to prove its power in the world. Apparently, Americans don’t feel that way. North Korea is surround by nukes from bases in the Pacific. We could annihilate them in the blink of an eye. Let’s face one thing. In the event of a missle strike many Americans will lose their lives. There is not one damn thing we can do to prevent that. Get it in your heads, America. We are not invulnerable and never will be. But knee jerk responses to every alleged provocation will not make us any safer. But it will make the world a more dangerous place. I do have one question: Why are we providing aid to a country which seems bent on doing battle with us?
