Most of those ‘greedy’ folks have been paying social security taxes all their working lives and many - like me - have also paid into pensions and invested in IRAs and TSAs. If wanting to be secure in old age is greed, count me in.

Ida May Fuller was the first social security recipient.  She paid in a total of $24.75, retired in 1939, lived to be 100 years old in 1975, and in the process collected $22,888.92 in benefits.

So they should be able to live off of the money in their “Social Security lock boxes.” Because we know that Congress wouldn’t have spent the money.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.
