TSA/Nipple Ring Update
Mandi Hamlin, who claims a Transportation Security Administration agent forced her to remove a nipple ring with pliers in order to board an airplane demonstrates what she was asked to do by the TSA.
[note: she doesn’t claim she couldn’t wear them on the plane, maybe she was only required to remove them like we all have to remove items during screening and everything is returned to us?]
I’ll still wait on expressing my opinion until the TSA side is out, but… my question is um… seems to me that it’s not necessary to have to use pliers for the removal of any body piercings. That is unless ... she perhaps, said that was the only way she could do it in order to get out of the inconvenience of doing so? Who knows, maybe the TSA agents took her up on the challenge. *shrugs*
It’ll be interesting to hear the story in it’s entirety.
