TRANSFORMERS: no spoilers, just an observation
Mucho good fun, nice babes, cool military stuff on display, special effects are WOW and maybe a world’s record for the number of explosions in a movie.
The observation is that there is only ONE human villain in the script and he is a milktoast suit sent by the POTUS. He is ready for “diplomacy” with the evil machines and has orders for the military to stand down. And President Obama is actually mentioned as headed for a bunker in an undisclosed Midwest location when the shit hits the fan. How’s that for a not so hidden message that millions are gonna get during their Hollywood summer movie good time. I was pleasantly shocked.
