Um, Watashiwa, you seem to be a little bit factually challenged here.  It actually turns out that the rate at which black South Africans (and white as well) are being killed has gone through the roof since Apartheid was ended.  The system was a misguided attempt to maintain order, not an attempt to eradicate black Africans.

Besides, the system ended 14 years ago.  Those who instituted it are largely already dead.  Whacha gonna do, dig up their graves and make stew with the embalmed corpses?

It would be poetic justice for those who have turned a country into a war zone, but I still don’t recommend it.

I am not a racist. I detest racists because of what they have done and continue to do to all ethnic groups and this country. Let’s forget about history since you people seem to want to be in denial of America’s racist past. The right wing has got you gullible fools to believe that everybody thinks you owe them something. I just want you to quit acting like nincompoops and stop blaming us for all your social ills while ignoring your own influence on the troubles our societ faces today. Rob, if you want to know if genocide is warranted, talk to the soldiers who served in Viet Nam and burned whole villages to the ground, killing every man, woman and child, after being attacked by a few Viet Cong. Tell me how do you justify a white man shooting and killing a little girl carrying her younger sister on her back while crossing a farmer’s land on her way home from school. The younger girl died also. They had done nothing wrong. There are documented cases and sworn testimonials from whites who were hired and involved in the systematic killing of blacks for no reason at all. Yes, Rob. These people came before the Peace and Reconciliation Committee set up by the black government. If you don’t believe me, Google it.

Umm, if you’re not talking about the works of the NVA, Victor Charlie or occasional actions of ARVN vs. ‘Yards, you’ll have to take that up with your boy Kerry, who seemed to be an expert on that and other Zscheng-iss Kahn stuff, but even his memory proved a tad iffy when actually questioned.

Which is particularly odd, given these on-again, off-again memories were, seared, seared into his mind.

watashiwa.  How about the 500,000 tutsis and hutus that slaughtered each other because one group was racist against the other on the basis of height?  No more.

Chief RZ,you have come back with that old adage “Don’t confuse me with the facts.” Fact: What happened to that white girl was a crime that happens to many women in this country everyday regardless of race. And the perpetrators of these crimes may be of any race. I deplore what happened between the hutus and tutsis. Just as I deplore what happened between the Serbs and Albanians, et al. Maybe tribal hatreds are a part of human nature. But this is America. Land of the free, home of the brave, equal justice and liberty for all. What tribal hatreds did whites have for blacks to cause them to systematically exclude us from equal rights that they took for granted. Last hired. First fired. Having to put up everything you owned and get a reputable co-signer in order to get a loan for a house. Yes many poor whites went through the same thing. But most whites just had to go to a bank for a loan and they did not face these hassles. Was it because the banks knew that the system was tilted against the blacks in the first place? Anyway, I am tired of rehashing this stuff. I guess you never had these conversations until I came on board. My problems with right wingers is that they, as a whole. only know what they read or see on tv or hear from someone else’s experiences concerning ethnic minorities. I have lived and worked with whites all my life. I have lived in your neighborhoods. I have socialized at work and attended functions with whites. I have cared for and played with your children and ate at your tables. I know whites from these experiences. I know that the whites who live in North Dakota are some of the best people on earth.

Nobody denies that various atrocities committed under apartheid were crimes.  However, a few brutal murders here and there are not genocide, nor do they excuse calling for the murder of thousands of others not involved in those murders.

The ugly reality, watashiwa, is that you’re calling for genocide.
