The Main Stream Media Is Whining About Saddam
The MSM is once again living down to our expectations. You know, you really gotta love those guys. They’re about as predictable as they can be.
The howling and whining about the Saddam Hussein hanging has begun, not to mention the boot-licking that the MSM delivers with relish to every radical in the Middle East they can find to interview about the subject.
Today a big deal was being made over the fact that the Palestinians are outraged. Oh. Now THERE’S something different. Outraged Palestinians. Damn. But then, I guess if you hang the guy who was paying $30,000 to the families of everybody who was damnfool enough to strap on a bomb and blow himself to tiny, moist pieces along with anybody else who happens to be near, a few of them would be outraged. Who wants to blow themselves up for nothing?
In Jordan yesterday there was a protest - I know - it’s a stretch but, yes, some Arabs were protesting - and the daughter of the newly dead former President For Life joined in. The MSM told us all about how she participated and even quoted part of a statement she made. They didn’t mention the fact that this is one of the daughters who’s husband Saddam shot all full of holes. Hey, lady…he killed your husband, his son-in-law. HELLOOOO?
They’ve also taken to doing man-on-the-street interviews about the hanging. Is it just me or is this embarrassingly like when they interview the guy on the street about the tornado that took out the trailer park? You know the guy….the one with the five day growth of beard, bad teeth and questionable personal hygeine, wearing a tractor hat and a “Who Farted?” t-shirt. The guy we all really like representing us on TV.
Apparently that guy lives in the Middle East. too, because the MSM found him to ask him his worldly opinion about Saddam’s timely demise. Over and over again.
Also, the MSM is reporting that the trial was “unfair.” Unfair? Unfair is when you hang somebody up on a meathook before you ask him squat like Saddam’s henchmen did. Unfair is sending a woman’s husband home to her after she asked Saddam for him back - in a garbage bag. In pieces. I’d say that was on the deep end of unfair. What he got was better than he deserved and was more fair and civilized than he would have gotten in any - ANY - of the countries in that region.
They also told us about all the thousands who gathered in Saddam’s hometown to send him off. They protested, too, and we knew they would, but the MSM reported it in somber, ominous tones like it means something. Well, it does. It means that another pack of these seventh century dwelling barbarians have something new to holler about. That’s all.
And we knew it would happen. Many of us said so right here on this site.
Apparently the MSM does not read this site. I’m beginning to wonder if they read anything at all except their own copy.
