The Fruits of the Orchard
Operation Orchard was the Israeli Air Force’s code name for a deep penetration raid into Syria conducted on September 6th, 2007 (and discussed here, here, and here). A video presented at Wired on their Danger Room blog makes the case for the facility being a completed, but un-fueled, fast breeder reactor:

The still images are consistent with a gas cooled graphite moderated fast breeder reactor. I also concur that there are no indications that power was to be drawn from the installation, and that great lengths were taken to obscure the site both before and after it’s destruction in the air raid.
I’d really like to see the raw intelligence, but that’s just not going to happen.
