I suspect you all will think I am weird, if you don’t already.  When I go deer hunting I ask to do all the field dressing.  I’m good at it, I don’t get much blood (unless its a bad gut shot), I like to retrieve the liver which is excellent eating from a deer, and when I am done it’s a piece of work.  I don’t end up all bloody like some guys do. 

Plus doing it well seems to honor the deer as more than just a piece of meat.  I do it well so that the Deer isn’t disfigured horribly.

I know than a non hunter won’t understand this.  A hunter will.

Glad they are teaching this to women.  Its a good thing to know how to do.

Had I known about the fly fishing workshop I would have arranged my vacation around it and signed up.
Forget the dressing out a carcass though .. I do have my limits don’tcha know

Gene, I do that every fall in the kitchen except last year
because I didn’t shoot a deer. I am ready to shoot one this season if I am lucky enough.
