‘Talking cameras’ look to end sex on the beach

Yes Sport fans! I can see millions of men marching on Jantzen Beach protesting this assault on the Constitutional Right to Privacy! Soon government eyes, voice may be coming to shore to deter people from amorous relations.

"Imagine going for a romantic stroll on the beach with your loved one, perhaps even giving a kiss, when suddenly you’re blasted with a bright light and a voice from above warning against having sex on the beach. Such a scenario is a strong possibility in one South Florida county where officials are looking to install “talking” video cameras to warn and/or catch people engaged in amorous relations.”

Now I would suggest that sexual intercourse, including oral sex on public beaches should not be tolerated. After all many people have a right to enjoy beaches without having to watch bedroom behavior, especially by innocent children; on the other hand this idea of cameras everywhere watching everything we do and using what they view to intimidate descreet romantic interludes and arrest/fine offenders is too 1984 to make me very comfortable about it all.

I suggest the city save money by not hiring individuals to monitor these cameras but internet enable them.  Allow the public to monitor the beaches remotely and type in text that would be voice synthesized. That would be a hoot!

No security cameras on the beach to protect us from sex on the beach!

Zsa Zsa on November 19, 2007 at 06:52 am

It’s been found that areas of London covered by the security cameras are no more safer than areas not covered.

Quel Surprise.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Since many folks in south Florida are prohibited from having outdoor lighting on during turtle mating season, one wonders how the turtles will respond to bright lights and shouted warnings?

Maybe the people who want to have sex on the beach can do it seasonally with the turtles?

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

With the turtles?

Yes, with the turtles! Al Gore has taught me to live in harmony with my fellow creatures! Now if I could just get him to stop buzzing the damn beach with his Gulfstream 550, we might get some peace and quiet!

Besides, for all you perverts: The turtles just like to watch!

Hokey Smoke.

Proof’s going to argue, I bet, that it would be perversion with an amphibian, but turtles are reptiles.  :^)

And in proofs world I suppose reptiles are normal.

Youngsters like Zsa Zsa need to be supervised more carefully for exactly this reason.

Zsa Zsa,

Merely a back-handed reference to an earlier discussion in which it was determined that you are indeed younger than I.  Nothing untoward or disparaging intended.  I have a certain fondness for younger females.

Zsa Zsa on November 19, 2007 at 11:34 am

BTW, how was the game?  It was not available here, even on the NFL channel.
