Suspension And Parenting Overdone

Kyle Walker, 7,  was suspended last week for violating Dennis Township Primary School’s zero-tolerance policy on guns, the boy’s mother, Shirley McDevitt, told The Press of Atlantic City.
The second grader drew a stick figure shooting a gun earned him a one-day school suspension.
Apparently, after drawing the picture which also had a skateboarder, King Tut, a ghost, a tree and a Cyclops, Kyle shared it with another kid on his school bus, and that kid’s parents complained about it to school authorities.
Seriously, The Whistler, I give you permission to be irate over this, but first, please go slap those parents reporting it and ask them just what were they thinking?
