Speaking of Neo-Nationalists

For Clay Burnham, Neiman, Proof, R108, 2H9, and anyone else who senses that our nation’s original ideals and purpose have been ignored, or worse rationalized away in a monstrous and mischievous wave of political correctness, I’d like to introduce you to the New Nationalist.

A former US Foreign Service Officer, he blogged previously from overseas and from the US under the title New Sisyphus.

His first post, titled “T.R Was, and Is, Right” is at the bottom of the page and offers a couple of very prescient quotes from Teddy Roosevelt.

In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birthplace or origin. But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn’t doing his part as an American.

And,

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all.

This is just as true of the man who puts ‘native’ before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul. Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance.

I would urge you each to read the rest of New Nationalist’s first posts carefully.  There are only six altogether.  What he writes is in no small sense revolutionary.  But I believe it should be written… and it should be read.

If we are to re-establish… our nationhood, if we are to recover our manliness as a culture, we must first give ourselves permission to hate. We must be mentally prepared to stand up and against all popular expectation to sneer with utter contempt at those whose petty racial and other-national interests are tearing down the edifice so painstakingly built by our predecessors.

Read the whole thing.

In my opinion, that point of view is extreme and potentially dangerous.  Give ourselves permission to hate? I hate crime, or what I call sin, but I would never give myself permission to hate any man or woman.  Who am I but a person who is not without sin.

I knew that Diplomad was going to be blogging outside of New Sisyphus, had not heard he was up and blogging already. Thanks for the link, Bravo1.

I have a lot of the posts from Diplomad on disc. I burned them right after they posted the last one. They are well worth the reading time if they can still be found.

Just added him to my bloglines feed.

Angelina, if you can not focus hate upon your enemies you can not kill them. You do not kill them you are defeated. It is that simple, and has nothing to do with sin and everything to do with survival.

Submit or Die. That is the menu of options granted to us by those who proudly proclaim they are our enemy. Both foreign and domestic, religious and ideological.

Thank you very much for the link and the discussion.

Angelina says my view is extreme and potentially dangerous. Correct on both counts. That does not, as you seem to believe, mean necessarily that I am wrong. I have not come to my current conclusions without serious thought and decades of watching politics. I understand what I’m saying is dangerous. It is, however, correct.

2Hotel9 - I was the blogger New Sisyphus, NOT the Diplomad. The Diplomad, gods bless him, is still and FSO so far as I know.

Very idealistic...but impossibly unrealistic

“The greatest tyrannies are always perpetrated in the name of the noblest causes.”—The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt.”

My apologies, Kev. I thought NewSis was where Dip dug in after pulling the plug on Diplomad.

You’ll hear from the regulars here that I get a bit boorish about balkanization, political and cultural. This rush to be “good citizens” of the world is a tactic of leftarded morons. One that Marxists have been wielding rather effectively since the ‘40s. Fracture the National and Cultural identity of a population, then turn the pieces against each other. And ridicule anyone that attempts to point this out.

Throw in some olives and vermouth, shake like hell, and you have a nice glass of civil dissolution and strive. A fertile field for the seeds of socialism.

See, guys? I was all conversational and whatnot this time, damnnit. No ranting and raving. Better mark your calenders, it won’t happen again for awhile.
