Oh. My. God!! The Sun gets warmer and cooler?!?! And humans are not the cause?!?!?! How could this be!
Ok, seriously, this turned up in my bloglines feed a couple of days ago. The opening line is just priceless.
There’s a dimmer switch inside the sun that causes its brightness to rise and fall on timescales of around 100,000 years – exactly the same period as between ice ages on Earth. So says a physicist who has created a computer model of our star’s core.
Now the EnviroNAZIs will be spinning and twisting, at least those that don’t flat out call it Big Oil propaganda, and media will ignore it, as usual.
