Snowball’s Chance in Hell

The “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright is known for his “prophetic” speech, right? The following is an example of why men who profess to preach the gospel should stick to immutable truth.

From Jeremiah Wright’s last sermon:

“How many children of biracial parents can make it in a world controlled by racist ideology?” Wright said.

“Children born to parents who are of two different races do not have a snowball’s chance in hell of making it in America, especially if the momma was white and the daddy was black. A child born to that union is an unfortunate statistic in a racially polarized society,” he said.

Yeah! Pity poor Obama! Child of two different races, US Senator, candidate for President, pulls down, what? Close to a Million dollars a year with his wife (like he did in 2006?) or the $1.7 Million they pulled down in 2005? Rough life! (And don’t get me started on Halle Berry!)

Snowballs chance in hell? Perhaps the wrong “Reverend” Wright has been getting grammar lessons from Bill Clinton? It all depends on the meaning of “snowball” and “in” and “ Hell”!
And don’t forget “chance”! smile

Rachel Lucas went on to list a few more:

Off the top of my head, I can think of several snowballs in hell right now, all of whom I’m pretty sure have “made it in America”, and this is just in the entertainment/sports area:

Tiger Woods
Halle Berry
Derek Jeter
Mariah Carey
Tina Turner
Alicia Keys
Bob Marley
Jimi Hendrix
Jennifer Beals
Lenny Kravitz

Plus, guess who? Malcolm X himself.

Two seconds on Google produced this list and it’s literally just the tip of the iceberg (these are just the famous ones).
