SNL Spoofs the Liberal Obsession With Obama

By recreating the recent Democratic Debate:

Choice quotes:

Russert: Senator Clinton, you often allude to Senator Obama’s eloquence. And let’s be honest. He is really really eloquent. Amazingly eloquent. Quite astonishingly eloquent. Quite amazingly elo-

Clinton: I get it, Tim. He’s eloquent.

Russert: Senator Obama, am I hearing you correctly? You are saying that you are gonig to give the American people back the 100 Million dollars of their hard earned money that you were gonig to use for your campaign, and instead let them use it however they see fit? Do you think that’ll fly?

Obama: Well, I hope so. And I think it’s about all I can do.

Russert: Thank you. That’s my only question for you. And I apologize if I was a little nosy or made you feel the slightest bit uncomfortable with my question. That was not my intent.

Obama: That’s OK, Tim, you were just doing your job.

Clinton: I’m sorry, is that the toughest question you could ask him?

Russert: But who is this man (Putin’s successor)? What is his name?

Clinton: Um, Medev..

Russert: Dimetri Mededyev. Senator Obama, same question.

Obama: Dimetri Medeveve.

Russert: Correct. Senator Clinton. Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, can you name him?

Clinton: Uh. I don’t…

Russert: Ojo Madoyoquay. Senator Obama, same question….

SNL is pretty far out there now (and not terribly funny), but I think they get it right in calling out many liberals in giving Obama a free pass on being nothing more than an empty suit with a sticker saying “Hi My Name is: Audicity to Hope” on his right breast pocket.
