Separatism is in, Diversity is out.

From the U.K. thought police, more proof that separate IS equal and anyone who disagrees is less than equal:

“One in every 20 children adopted from care goes to live with a gay couple, official figures revealed yesterday.

...

In some towns where councils are most sympathetic to the gay rights cause, the likelihood of a child in care being adopted by a same sex couple is as high as one in five.

...

Advice from the councils’ umbrella body, the Local Government Association, has praised authorities that encourage gay adoption and instructed social workers to strike off from their list of potential adoptive parents anybody who disagrees with gay adoption...”

So let me get this straight:

Couples who are medically infertile are not to be allowed to adopt if they feel that couples who are merely socially infertile belong at the end of the line.

Furthermore, anyone who believes that diversity trumps sameness—that separate is NEVER equal—are to be discriminated against by those who advocate for gender bias and sexist bigotry.

Tammy Bruce was right.

This is what’s known as “the gay agenda”. Some people take offense to that term, but look at what they’re doing here. One isn’t allowed to adopt if one doesn’t agree with adoption by gay couples. The agenda is that you will agree or you’ll lose your rights and privileges.

This action isn’t for the children, it’s a political strategy. That’s a shame.

A couple’s feelings about gay parents should not play a role in how “qualified” they are at parenting. If you want equal opportunity, do first come first serve. This is just another form of “affirmative action”.

I think you guys are having a difficulty here because you all have a built in assumption that gays are lesser, worse, less entitled to adopt et cetera. Hence the, “Look at what they are doing here”. These adoption people are just preventing hate-filled [Christian] people from raising hate-filled kids that someone else had. I don’t see the issue. We all know how strict the Chinese are when they give away baby girls. Furthermore, as homos are denied equivalent rights, you can expect their advocates to take every inch they can get in the other direction, as we see here.

Nice trolling sparkie—but sexual orientation is not really even relevant.

But if we’re talking about two men (two fathers) or two women (two mothers) who want to adopt a child between themselves, we should certainly want to consider the very real gender bias and lack of diversity these couples exhibit, regardless of whether they consider themselves straight, gay, or just brothers and sisters. The point is not that they are unfit parents, or even that they are homosexuals. The point is that they display gender bias, and a segregative form of sexism.  They call this “separate, but ‘equal’”.

Who in their right mind would allow a little boy(or girl) to be adopted by two women(or men) who are incapable of intimacy with males(or females)?

On the other hand, if a gay man and a lesbian woman unite to adopt together to become Mother and Father to an orphaned child, I have no problem with this at all—because sexual orientation isn’t even relevant to the question at hand.

Kids don’t come from under cabbage leaves you know… they come from exactly one man, and one woman.  No more, no less, and no matter whether either or both of them are homosexual.

We all know how strict the Chinese are when they give away baby girls.

Actually, the survey says they kill millions of baby girls, not give them away.  Again, sexist bias rears her ugly little head, and children are made to suffer.
