Secretary of State Pelosi Traveling to Middle East

Who does this harridan think she is?
Let me see...The President sets foreign policy, The Senate ratifies foreign treaties…
Nancy Pelosi sees foreign movies!

ABC News’ Jonathan Karl Reports: ABC News has learned Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi plans to visit Syria next week to meet with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.  The visit will make Pelosi the most senior U.S. official ever to meet with President Assad.

Pelosi will be traveling to Syria has part of Congressional delegation.  On the trip, she also plans to visit several other countries in the region, including Israel, where she will deliver a speech to the Knesset.

Pelosi’s visit to Syria would come as the United States has severed high-level contacts with Assad’s government.

Maybe she’ll bump into some Republicans while she’s there.

Hilarious.

Word on the street is, the original burka was made for a woman who looked just like Pelosi!

Trolls. It’s what’s for breakfast!

Syria is officially secular, fi-zolks.  Many women don’t even wear headscarves, let alone burqas.

Like Saddam’s Iraq, they should be a natural ally (and they are, at least when we need to send an Islamist to a regime that relishes the opportunity to torture Islamists.)

I would make her wear a burka.

If Laura Bush doesn’t have to, there’s no way Pelosi would have to.

Officially as in that’s what its says on some official piece of paper there. I think they are sunnis mostly though. Membership in the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ is actually punishable by death in Syria.

That link is pretty funny. I like this:

Pelosi’s outreach to a state sponsor of terrorism (Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Former Russain ‘-stans’!?!) is a ``really bad idea,’’ White House… said… in Washington. ``Someone should take a step back and think about the message that it sends and the message that it sends to our allies.’’

...remarks come as a group of Republican[s] embark on their own trip to Syria.

Hee hee hee. I hate politicians!

Yep, so their hostility to Islamism goes well beyond an empty statement on a charter.

Woah. Just because you claim to be secular and kill members of a certain group on a regular basis doesn’t mean you are actually secular.

Just because they want to eradicate a group that wants to impose theocracy doesn’t mean they’re opposed to theocracy, does it?

Wait a second....

And the person to make that happen is the Speaker of the House? Isn’t there a law that says you can’t be Speaker unless you understand at least 8th Grade Civics? Well, there should be!
Well, having solved all of our domestic problems: Ethical reform of Congress, Social Security, Health, Welfare, Crime and Taxation, it’s only natural that Speaker Pelosi would turn her attention to foreign affairs!

I think Helen Thomas should be required to wear a burka…
