Rush Just Said It….

Today, while Rush was talking with a caller, he opined the following:  “After November, the Democrats will fill the federal bench with liberal judges and the bureaucracy with their cronies.  That way, they won’t have to worry about the future make-up of congress.  They can just make laws in the courts for years to come.”

[WARNING!  A paraphrase, but I hope an honest and accurate one.]

Food for thought for conservatives and republicans.

Isn’t this what “crossing the aisle to work with the Democrats” and “I’ll hire Democrats in my administration” is all about?  What’s the difference?
McCain is going to owe his Presidency(should he win) to the Dems(who he is courting), so why would he not continue to pander to them?

r108:  Rush was talking about the grim future of the federal courts under the Dems.

And I made a factual and logical argument why it would be little or no different under McCain.

Well - in all fairness - you made a speculative prediction.

I used McCain’s own words, and took into account his actions in pandering to Dems throughout his career.
Even though many Dems are rejecting this new income redistribution scheme now in Congress, McCain still supports it.

So, R108, do you agree with what Rush said?

I repeat: What’s the difference?

He only told part of the truth, IMO.

And whose fault will this be? The Republican Party. They have lied and backstabbed this country for the last 10 years. Now their chickens,,,are coming home,,,,to roost.

A nation filled with a bunch of “typical white person[s]” voting for “God Damn America”?

Egh. I’m not going to concede defeat months before the election actually happens. I’m also not ready to throw McCain in with the far left Democrats.

What’s the difference? Nearly everything.

Some of you give up too easily. Perhaps those of you who have already thrown up your hands and given up should do yourselves a favor and just ignore, to the best of your ability, the bloody game of politics.

It’s all about taking one step forward while the government (as exemplified by the lackies of the left) drag us two steps back. That’s the game. It’s not pretty, nor is it fair in any sense of the word. Learn that, recognize that, and grow some freaking nuts already or get out of the game.

Lik, in the 25 minutes that I listened to Mr Limbow today he made a statement that pretty well sums up the whole argument. He said, and I paraphrase,"I will only support those Republicans that stand up and fight for what I believe in and want.”.

Little brother, ain’t none of them, not fucking one, who has done that in the last 10-12 years. Not. Fucking. One. They, as a group, are embracing socialism. That is the exact, polar opposite of what I, and the majority Americans, want. And yet I, and the majority of Americans, am given zero(0) fucking choice in the matter.

Where, exactly, do you think this is leading?
