Ron Paul in NH
So far Ron Paul (the goofball candidate) is getting 8x the number of votes in NH; that Fred Thompson is getting.

Oh! Fred Thompson gained a point. Paul only has 4x the number of votes.
"All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise not from defects in their Constitution or Confederation, nor from want of honor or virtue, so much as downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation.”
- John Adams
Ron Paul cannot get nominated because he will never get more than a very minor percentage of the most radical libertarian voters. Fred, can with a win in South Carolina draw votes from a broader voter base and have a chance to win. That is the difference.
No matter the age or state of health, for a military man it is always glorious to tilt at windmills, rescue a fair Dulcinea and be a gallant knight in armor in a glorious cause.
Ron Paul is still dead last in national polling. New Hampshire will be his best showing. Plus, Thompson didn’t even campaign there much at all, Paul did.
People who understood how these things work could tell you that this is insignificant. But hey, this is all the Paulbots got, so I’m not surprised you’re trying to make it into something it isn’t.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

Rob’s recently listened-to songs:

It looks like he will win Nevada and Montana

Isn’t that where Area 51 is???
For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

Rob, the implicit assumption behind your statements is that likely supporters of Thompson won’t vote for him if they don’t get a call from him or see them in the local coffee shop. Not a good sign…
Rob, Thompson hit his pick around the day he entered the race. I has been pretty much all down hill since then.
Paul is dead last in National polling, but guess where Thompson is, ...
Candidate Average
Huckabee 21.3%
McCain 20.0%
Giuliani 16.3%
Romney 13.3%
Thompson 11.0%
Paul 3.7%
Coming at best fourth, but more likely a way far from the top fifth --just slightly better than “Dr. Ron Paul” --in Michigan will continue on pushing Thompsons’ number down. Coming at best third in Nevada --more likely fourth—will keep that trajectory. Our man is a dead man walking.

I challenge anyone to google Ron + Paul + prisonplanet and google Ron + Paul + stormfront. You’ll see that Ron Paul has strong support amongst the kooks and antisemites. Before you hand your cash over to Ron Paul decide whether you are a kook, an antisemite, or both.
