Regular Guy Rant: The Great American Tragedy
It struck me with amusement just how fast Al Sharpton found a television camera after the passing of Michael Jackson. Michael wasn’t gone two hours and there was the good Reverend front and center running his mouth about how he found it interesting that someone who had recently been vilified (Jackson) now had all kinds of friends in his passing. I found that interesting to Al, I even found it interesting that you had a picture of yourself and Michael in your hand a few hours after his passing. Yeah, most people cruise around New York City with 8 x 10’s of their friends.
Sharpton, like his sometime friend/most of the time competitor Jesse Jackson just aren’t happy unless they’re on camera and blaming someone (usually white people) for the problems of the world. Oh and a side note, this is the one year anniversary of Jackson getting caught on camera dropping an N (and I don’t mean nuclear) bomb on his friend Barack Obama. Yeah, Jackson had a Biden moment. The difference is that if Biden had said it he would have been destroyed (well, maybe), but not good ol’ Jesse. No for Jesse, it was just another set up by the racist right wing.
Now I truly believe that a good portion of America see’s these two for what they are and that is a twisted combination of extortionist, race baiters, and hired mercenaries for the Democratic Party. They are 100% in the race business. Just like the Mad Hatter of Global Warming land Al Gore, these two make money from their pet causes. They might have actually cared about the Civil Rights movement years ago, but now it’s a way to stay on TV and make lots and lots of money.
Now before I go forward, I want to say that their brand of Christianity is something way beyond what the rank and file Christian knows. What kind of “minister” goes around spreading filth and lies about adversaries? What kind of minister preaches a message of hate? What kind of minister is never actually at church, but at every single MSNBC event, Clinton confession, or “free OJ” rally? I think it’s time their home churches give them the backside dropkick from the pulpit.
I won’t get into every single Jackson/Sharpton scam. If you’re interested in that there is an excellent book by Ken Timmerman called “Shakedown” that talks about the extortion tactics of such fine Americans like Jesse Jackson. Sean Hannity has reported on the Sharpton/Tawana Brawley controversy numerous times and information on that case can be found all over the Internet. If you think it’s wrong when someone has their character assassinated, then I wouldn’t advise reading about it. It will make your blood boil. I would assume that most people are also well aware of the glee they have when they can have someone fired or they can attempt to destroy a private company because of a bonehead mistake by one person. Apologies and forgiveness doesn’t matter to these two men of the cloth unless the person apologizing is a Clinton (or one of them).
I want to say that I find Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to be at the forefront of one of America’s greatest tragedies. Instead of reveling in the fact that civil rights has blossomed for people of all color over the last fifty years, these two continue to put down white people and in a different way put down people of color. Yes, you read that right, Sharpton and Jackson put down their own people.
Either you are or you know someone who was put down for something as a little kid and it still sticks with them. Barack Obama himself admitted he doesn’t like people talking about his ears because he was teased about this as a youth. Imagine, a self proclaimed living God, true patriot, married to the most beautiful woman in history, who was elected President of the United States being uncomfortable about the radars on his head? Well folks, a lot of people are like that. Words can sting and they can stay with you for a long, long time. In my opinion you dismiss the words of some cruel kid, but those same words by an adult towards a kid can borderline on mental abuse. Ladies and gentlemen, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are abusers.
Jackson and Sharpton like to continually tell the African American community that they are held back by the white man or they can’t compete with the white guy. If you do work with a white company then you must be an Uncle Tom. People, they’re basically telling African American youth that they are stupid or they are sellouts if they get out of the project. If you go through life thinking you are dumb, then you will start to become dumb or commit dumb acts. If you go through life thinking that becoming friends with or working with a white person makes you a sellout, then you will always feel guilty or you will avoid any chance of improving yourself.
How often do Sharpton and Jackson encourage the African American community to turn towards families with mothers and fathers instead of just a mother? How often do they tell them to look at movies like “Friday” or “I’m Gonna Get you Sucka” as just movies and not the Gospel? How often do they talk out against black entertainers who spit out such degrading words like “Hoe” and “Bitch” continuously? The answer is never. I honestly cannot see their hero and a real hero to all, Martin Luther King advocating such behavior. If it means getting on stage with 50 Cent, then Sharpton and Jackson will gladly look the other way when the artist is talking about “pimpin’ some hoes.
Bill Cosby, who I doubt very seriously, is a conservative, made a television show that had the gall to show a black family living an upper class existence. The Huxtable family didn’t shy away from African American history, in fact they embraced it. What they did do was to avoid all the stereotypical jive talking, white man bashing, and the putting down of women. You never heard Bill Cosby talking about “pimping out Rudy” or “putting a cap in Theo.” Cosby, for trying to paint a positive image of a black family has been vilified by certain segments of the African American community. Which segment? Oh, let me answer that for you, the Sharpton and Jackson segment.
It is not the responsibility of Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton to raise the African American children in this country. It is the responsibility of their parents. Instead of promoting illegitimate families (or creating them like Jackson), they should be pushing for traditional family units whenever it is possible (sometimes it just isn’t and it falls to courageous single parents to take on the challenge). These two know that a traditional family unit with a Cosby mindset would mean a loss of dollars or TV time. Their greed and lust for power won’t allow that.
The destruction of the African American youth will continue to lead to mistrust in race relations and the decay of our inner cities. Go to the Acorn District in Oakland sometime and take a look. I walked through there during the daytime once and was scared and sad at the same time. A lot of the people living there are good people, but their own community and national leaders put them down and stir the cauldron of hate within them. Sharpton and Jackson need these communities to stay in their current condition or they won’t have a business. They won’t have any money. They won’t be on TV anymore.
A great tragedy is occurring in America. People like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are helping to destroy what they profess to protect. They turned their back on the vision of their hero (Dr. King) and pursued a path of dollar bills and power. They need a rotting inner city and broken black families to maintain their status. They character assassinate and they extort. They do it with a wink and smile from the far left (aka the Democratic Party). They are cancers in America and need to be tuned out. It takes a special kind of twisted mind to run down kids so you can have a whole new generation of victims to keep you going.
The Michael Jackson death is another way for these two blowhards to get on television and to be front and center in case somewhere there is even a glimmer of racism involved. Maybe a doctor was white and was .1 seconds off his game in performing CPR to Michael or maybe the ambulance driver stopped for a white lady crossing the road on the way to Michael’s home. There could be a nice handy dandy lawsuit against the driver and the ambulance company if that’s the case. Oh the thought of suing a doctor must make Sharpton salivate. Lots of TV time for smiling Al Sharpton and mumble mouth Jesse Jackson. When this story goes away, these two ambulance chasers will be on the hunt for the next destruct and destroy mission. Here’s to hoping they get lost on the way.
