Looks like it survived the landing! Too cool!
For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

Is this not awesome!!??
"Here lies, in honored glory, an American soldier, known but to God.”

Matthew May, conservative commentator, The American Spectator

“If a conservative is still a republican after the last 13 years, he is blind to the fact that his party of choice has failed him utterly.” – Realitybasedbob

It is projected to have a 90 day operational life before the seasonal “big freeze” sets in. I wonder, if the solar collectors can maintain enough power to keep the systems viable will Phoenix be sending pics of the spring thaw!?!? The analysis suite may not survive being frozen, but the optical and radar imaging systems should make it.
Check out image list, new stuff is coming up by the hour.

Third successful soft landing on Mars (all the other lands were the “airbag” variety). The other two were Vikings 1 and 2.
One hell of an incredible feat for NASA scientists.
Thanks for the link 2Hotel9.
