Part Of Jet’s Wing Found On Runway - Uh, Say What?

Part Of Jet Plane’s Wing Found On Runway

A 3m piece of wing from a jet aircraft has been found on a runway at the Indonesian capital’s main airport and investigators are trying to trace the plane it originated from… No airline operator had reported the part missing since its discovery yesterday on a runway serving Jakarta’s domestic terminal. From the serial number printed on the piece, we know that it is a part of the wing but we cannot trace the owner of the plane with the number.

I think this is where it’s suitable to say ... WTF???

Two weeks ago, a chunk of wing dropped off an Indonesian passenger plane carrying 144 people minutes after take-off from Jakarta, forcing the pilot to turn back.

But, hey… don’t worry if your on the plane that is currently missing its wing section… no down flights have been reported!!!

Perhaps it belonged to one of the many private jets cluttering the skies on their way to global warming conference in Bali?  Anyone heard from AlGore lately?

It is a serial #ed piece and yet they can not trace it? Me thinks they doth looketh to far way. Perhaps they should look at their national airline. It has a REALLY bad safety record already.

Anyone heard from AlGore lately?

The entire right wing fell off his airplane, but it doesn’t seem to slow it down!

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.
