There have been several contributors to SAB who have argued in heated and even vitrolic language that it is somehow racist to even suggest that there are substantial numbers of African-Americans who will support Senator Obama - no matter what - because he is one.

Oprah has probably settled that issue once and for all by her refusal to have Governor Sarah Palin, John McCain’s running-mate, on her show before  the election.

Here is the nation’s most successful black woman who has twice had Barack Obama on her show and publicly campaigned for him, refusing to have a white woman who may threaten his prospects on her show.

There will come the same bloggers trying desperately to defend Oprah and paint this pig with every shade of lipstick they can find, but at the end of the day… it will still  be a pig, and a racist pig at that.
